Paint Alberta 4-H green for 2017

We’re proud of our 100 year history and want to mark this milestone in a big way.

Centennial art contest

The search is on for a signature piece of art to represent 4-H Alberta’s 100th anniversary. This piece will be reproduced as a limited edition print and available for purchase in 2017.

Five categories of entries:

  1. Painting – any type
  2. Original hand-drawing – pen, pencil, charcoal
  3. Photography – colour or black and white
  4. Digital media – must be a still image (no video or animation) using any platform
  5. Other – Get creative here! Use fibres, seeds, etc. What you will submit is a photo of the original art.

Prizes:

Depending on the number of entries, five finalists will be selected in each category. Each will receive a set of greeting cards made from winning artwork.

The chosen winner from each category will be awarded $250.

People’s Choice winner will receive an additional $250 as well as one of the limited edition prints.

Centennial Cruise
